Hanover, PA — Sheridan, a CJK Group company, has been selected to provide printing and related services for the American Psychological Association’s journals program. Sheridan will begin print production, mailing, distribution, back issue storage and fulfillment, and professional subscriber services for all 85 print journals beginning with January 2019 issues.
Notable among this prestigious body of work is American Psychologist®, the official peer-reviewed scholarly journal of the APA. Established in 1946, it is the most widely circulated social science journal in the world.
“Our decision was based on Sheridan’s capability to manage print production and distribution under one roof, from large quantities to print on demand, and their focus on operational excellence and continual improvement,” said Rose Sokol-Chang, PhD, Publisher of APA Journals. “Sheridan has a record of strength in customer service, which is essential to support the APA Journals community.”
“The addition of APA to the Sheridan journal production client list is a moment of great celebration for us,” said Paul Bozuwa, President of Sheridan. “We are pleased to add journal production to our already robust books production work with APA, and we are also pleased that Sheridan’s wide array of journal-specific ancillary services, our market leading Select™ order entry system, our values-based management approach, and, of course, a super-efficient production platform set the conditions for the addition of this work.”
Sheridan, the largest journal print provider in the world, enjoys continued growth and stability, allowing the company to invest in and develop technologies and people to serve the journal publishing community.
