Job Summary
As part of the Corporate Payroll Team, this position is responsible for assisting with processing the organization’s payroll for both exempt and non-exempt employees from multiple sites and states while maintaining accurate payroll and attendance data. Working closely with other members of the Payroll Team, this role will also generate and analyze reports from within the payroll and timekeeping software and act as a liaison between site level Supervisors and the payroll /time & attendance providers for problem resolution and error correction. Additionally, this role will collaborate with site HR departments to assist employees with any payroll questions, conflicts, or discrepancies.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associates degree in accounting preferred
- Experienced in accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll is strongly desired
- Strong knowledge of tax and deduction laws as they apply to the payroll process
- Strong understanding of the laws surrounding employee child support, garnishments, & tax levies
- Knowledge of ADP and Kronos or equivalent platforms
- Must be flexible, organized, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure handling multiple tasks at one time
- Computer literacy and proficiency with MS Word and Excel
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 5 pounds at times.
Schedule 40 hours per week
- 1st shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Ability to work remotely or in the office located at 450 Fame Avenue Hanover, PA 17331.
