Job Summary:

The Collator Operator will set-up, operate and maintain the assigned collator of the binder to meet production standards, quality, and delivery requirements as directed by the Binder Operator and General Plant Supervisor.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be mechanically inclined with good math skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong knowledge of computer – controlled machinery in a production environment
  • Self – motivated with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to comfortably and safely handle and change sharp blades
  • Attentive to deadlines and schedules issued by customers (internal and external)
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to manipulate small hand tools in tight spaces for troubleshooting and making minor adjustments to the machinery and blade changes
  • Prolonged periods of standing on production floor
  • Must be able to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds

Schedule: 40 hours per week  Monday through Friday. Some OT required

  • 3rd  shift : 12:00 am – 8:00 am
  • Overtime pays time and a half after 40 hours per week
  • Shift premium:  8% of base pay paid on all hours worked
