Starting out in 1899 as a commercial printing business and daily newspaper, Sheridan MN has evolved over the years to become a leading short- to mid-run book printer.
In 1975 John Kurtzman and Dennis Johnson bought the company which was then known as Bang Printing. Together, they upgraded the facility and expanded the company’s sales force, invested in state-of-the-art printing and bindery equipment, and relocated to a new building on the outskirts of Brainerd, MN.
In 1985, John Kurtzman became the sole owner and president until his son, Chris Kurtzman, took over leadership of the company. Today, Chris Kurtzman leads CJK Group, Sheridan’s parent company. In 2021 CJK Group unified its various print operations under the Sheridan name.
Offering complete book solutions, Sheridan MN is known for its extensive in-house binding capabilities and fulfillment solutions.
