Hunt Valley, MD – Beginning with the first issues of 2013, Dartmouth Journal Services (DJS) will manage all production services for four ASPET journals: The Journal of Pharmacology & Experimental Therapeutics (JPET), Molecular Pharmacology (MOL), Drug Metabolism and Disposition (DMD), and Pharmacological Reviews (PharmRev).
ASPET has long been at the forefront of pharmacological research and education aimed at fighting existing and emerging diseases. A founding member of the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology, ASPET is in its 104th year.
Among the services DJS will manage for ASPET’s four prestigious titles are: DJS’s exclusive EditExpress™ pre-copyediting, all copyediting and issue management, graphics processing, eGalley™ composition, the Author Center portal for author proof delivery, continuous article publishing, full XML electronic deliverables, funded article submission, and author reprints.
Rich Dodenhoff, Journals Director at ASPET, noted, “After evaluating several vendors, DJS stood out for the high quality of its work, an emphasis on workflow improvement, and demonstrated success in technological innovation. Working with DJS will enable ASPET to provide our editors, authors, and readers with the level of excellence they expect from the Society’s journals.”
Gary Kittredge, President & COO of Dartmouth Journal Services, commented, “We are very pleased with ASPET’s decision to collaborate with DJS for the enrichment and presentation of their journal content. As DJS celebrates its 10th year of serving the STM community, our commitment to investing in new technology and providing genuine customer care remains stronger than ever. ASPET will be the recipient of our most technologically advanced workflows and their authors will benefit from a significantly reduced schedule. We are grateful for the trust that ASPET has placed in DJS; we look forward to building a strong and long-lasting relationship with this very prestigious society.”
