Ensure image integrity

Image Forensics employs modern image analysis techniques for detecting suspect image manipulation in supplied grayscale or color images. Image Forensics takes the guesswork out of image integrity by evaluating images after image preflight.

Reports about suspect or obvious image manipulation are sent immediately to the publisher. These reports are presented as PDF files with "before" and "after" images, including a magnified image of the suspect area. We also use red zones to identify the suspect area and insert descriptions to explain the items in question.

Finally, links to the high-resolution images are provided for quick access and review by the publisher’s science editor.
