Sheridan Books Announces New Offering: Electronic Content Services

Sheridan Books, Inc. (SBI), a leading book manufacturer located in Michigan, announces the launch of Electronic Content Services, a suite of open and integrated services for managing electronic content.

With the launch of Electronic Content Services, SBI is able to address a growing desire of publishers to convert and distribute electronic content.  Sheridan's ECS system is comprised of conversion, enrichment, and distribution services.  This suite of services allows publishers to convert files to popular eBook formats that can be read on eBook readers, handheld devices (including Apple iPad™ and Apple iPhone®), and online; provides the option to encrypt files with Digital Rights Management; and establishes an online publisher branded shopping site for delivery of their content to mobile or other electronic reading devices as well as online hosting and the dissemination of content to third party content sellers.
